Accessibility
I want everyone to be able to use this site, including the interactive demos. The target is WCAG 2.2 level AA. This page says what that means here, how it is checked and where it still falls short.
Updated
What the site does
- Every page works with a keyboard: a skip link jumps to the main content and focus is always visible.
- Pages use real headings, landmarks and labelled controls, so screen readers can move around them.
- If your system asks for reduced motion, smooth scrolling is turned off and every animation is replaced by a calmer or static version.
- No essential content lives only in a canvas. Each 3D scene, game or map has an HTML poster, a text description and a fallback when WebGL is not available.
- Loaders and page transitions never shift the layout, and sound in the demos only starts after you interact.
How it is checked
- Automated axe checks run in the end-to-end tests for the Lab examples.
- Text and controls are designed for AA colour contrast on the dark theme.
Known limits
- Some Lab demos are visual or game-like by nature. Their content is described in text, but the experience itself is not fully equivalent without sight or a pointer.
- The demo interfaces inside examples are in English, even on the Ukrainian pages.
- Ads shown in the HTML5 Ads and Playable Ads pages are built to ad-network rules, which limit what they can expose to assistive technology.
